Since 1888, this corner of the business island has taken people in — mill men and travelers then, skiers and leaf-peepers and wedding guests now. However you find your way to Rumford, there's a warm room waiting.

Leaf season
The valley turns the color of a struck match. Drive Route 17 to the Height of Land, watch the falls run gold, and come back to the best window seat in Rumford.

River season
Paddle the Androscoggin, chase waterfalls, and stay out in the long northern light. Evenings end easy, with a drink downstairs and the window cracked to the sound of the river.

- SmokingNo smoking anywhere on the property — rooms, hallways, or common areas. Smoking in a non-smoking room carries a flat $500 penalty.
- PetsNo pets, so every guest rests easy.
- Damages & incidentalsNo deposit, and no hold on your money. The card you book with is kept securely on file by our payment processor and is charged only if there is damage to the room or a policy fee — such as the $500 smoking penalty.
